Miller Beer ?

Post by Gary » Sun May 06, 2018 5:39 pm

Random question , has anyone seen Miller beer on sale recently? Haven't had any for a while, so went to get some. Only to find JS and Morrisons in Spalding, South Lincs don't appear to stock it. Same with Tesco in Kings Lynn.

Appears it's no longer brewed under licence in the UK. Or that was the case back in 2009. So just wondering if anyone has seen it for sale
Posh are going to Wembley (albeit for a tin cup)

Only decent MIller I ever drank was at Mildenhall at the Air Fete so it's probably a blessing in disguise.

they stopped brewing it in the UK and Ireland 2009... surprised it's not on sale in the UK, EU brewed Miller is usually on sale in Ireland

Bargain Booze have been selling it. There was a falling out between the brewers and the distributors so it was withdrawn. I've heard a whisper its set for a re-launch sometime.

This is in you area, sort of.

Always worth a look.
We once walked through the back of the shop, into their ‘discount’ area.
It was like the scene at the end of Raiders of the lost Ark, huge warehouse stretching on for miles.
God there’s some stuff in there.

Drink responsibly folks !

If you're talking about bottles of "Miller Genuine Draft" I saw some four-packs in my local Co-op store today.

Can't say I knew it was difficult to obtain in some outlets. I still have some from a case I bought a couple of months ago. I enjoy a cold bottle or two in front of the telly on a Saturday night. I know how to live!

Bookers Cash & Carry have it on the shelves, I saw it there last Weds. Although you do need to have a Bookers account/card to buy goods from there.

And there's plenty more where that came from!

Apparently, one of the few advantages of being born an American is that you could refer to 'Budweiser, Miller, etc.' as beer!!!. :S :S :S :S :)

It's a shame that the Americans try to fob us off with the likes of Miller's and Budweiser ,its just giving American beer a bad name, when there are some really outstanding Beers available in some parts of America .
