BT Openreach Scam

Just had a phone call from 01467 709186. They said they were from BT openreach and there were issues with my broadband. Foreign lady with very little English so i asked if she was definitely from BT or was this a scam. Immediately the phone went dead. Just a warning to all.

Std 01467 is Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, but 'uk area-codes' does carry a warning that 'services' may not have 'physical links' with any particular area.

Oh I do enjoy these calls when I'm bored.
I let them droll on for a while, then bombard them with a few technical questions. They can't answer, so I ask to be put direct through to their Tech Dept.
Mysteriously the line disconnects at that point...
