Centre of Aviation Photography Site

Post by noekron » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:04 pm

Hello,

Recently I came across the Center of Aviation Photography Site
where they display a lot of interesting photo opportunities
and workshops. As I was thinking of joining one of these photoshoots
I was wondering If any one has some experience with this organization and
would like to share their experiences so that I can decide what to do.

Best regards,

Ronald

Having seen them out in Sion this year I have to say I was very impressed with them.
Adam Duffield was on that tour with COAP and wrote his opinion in his review.

I have not been on any of their overseas trips. I have been to a workshop on Lightroom that Rich Cooper organised a couple of years ago in the Vulcan hangar at Finningley, which was excellent. I have been on photoshoots with them at Marham, Bruntingthorpe (to photograph the repainted LPG Lightning), and Coningsby (the recent Air Combat Power Visit). They were all very well organized.

The overseas trips aren't cheap but you seem to get a lot for your money. From talking to others, they're pretty intense so perhaps more suited to younger photograhers! But, yes, from my limited experience, I would recommend them.
