Hope it's going well Patrick. Had a friend who retired recently who is thinking of going back to work, 'cos he said at least he had a day off then!!!. 'Wives in control, as usual!!'. Big disadvantage to being retired is that you don't get Bank Holidays any more!!. Regards, John. P.S. T says don't get under Ann's feet too much, and make her two cups of tea in bed in the mornings!!.

I'm a little late in reading this thread so I might have missed out.

Can you please PM a photo of the young lass? My wife said that I could look but not touch :'(

It might be just me being my usual grump but as a full time viewer of rugby football I reckon that soccer "diving" has crept into one or two teams. Also, too many players are shouting at the ref not letting the captain make the point.

Jem60. Have you considered making the tea for your wife in the kitchen? I tried your method and found that the pillows became soggy.

We should get some cracking games this weekend and Southern Hemisphere rugby is due to start. It was only a chill factor of freezing yesterday, the days are getting lighter and the air show days are soooon.

Have fun

Why TWO anthems for the Irish team?

You could try Google like I did!
At matches played in the Republic, both "Amhrán na bhFiann" (as the anthem of the Republic of Ireland) and "Ireland's Call" (as the anthem of the home team) are sung. Elsewhere, "Ireland's Call" is the only anthem used, in recognition of the need for a unifying anthem.
Cheers
Mark

I think the phrase I'm looking for rhymes with Clucking Bell! ;-). Soooooo close, I cringe to say it but well played Ireland, I think we should have luck of the Welsh by now though lol :-). Well played Wales, good game

well played scotland  a class ahead of england tonight.. such a shame, england pulled it together in the dying moments but it was to late

they played without passion and made a lot of small mistakes. Need to pull it together for next week..........

did anyone notice how disappointed Eddie looked, think its fair to say that there is going to be some stern words in the debrief

Thanks Mark, I didn't think that Google was that effective.

A training tip for several of the national sides would be to watch the Crusaders v. Chiefs match of yesterday.
Our policy of one man with ball in hand hoping to avoid two opposing players of a similar size is a system unlikely to give a high success rate.

Lisa, as in Mona...

Felt for Italy - it's that last 15-20 mins that took its toll.
Can't be long before they log a win...
