Very sad, he has made a huge contribution to the world of music, not only in the rock world. R.i.P

Hi folks

Enjoying this thread apart from artists taken before their time. Remember the early part of 2016 when someone good seemed to go every day :(

Dire Straits were compulsory in our car on the weekly run up to Mildenhall... Even now I remember the words to various songs while waiting for Mickeys to open then down to the viewing area for the FedEx Dc10 at 1300 once Sunday quiet hours were over.

Pat Benetar on the hire car tapedeck in Switzerland 1991 singing Love is a battlefield, while pounding the pass from Alpnach to Meiringen for the Hunters coming out of the mountain shelters....great days indeed.

Mike.
