Actually the men got to the semi finals in 1990 too!
And comparing them to the men is a bit like comparing The Atlas to a Cessna 172, they both do a hard job, but in a totally different way!

On another footing, I'me totally gutted for the ladies, what a devastating way and time to go out. And it had to be the one Notts County player on the pitch that scored the oggie!

But the women aren't overpaid cheaters who play for England for the money instead of pride to wear the 3 Lion Shirt!

Gutted for the ladies! Now just to kick ze Germans arse now!!

Whilst I agree with you 100% I'd like to take the opportunity to be pedantic again............................. The men don't get paid to play for England, just any out of pocket 'expenses', they do actually do it for the pride in pulling on the shirt.
Any prize/sponsorship monies have also always been donated to charity, euro 96 monies, where they also made the semifinals, were donated to Great Ormond Street,

I'll be watching the final later.

It has been entertaining to watch but something almost embarrassing to admit to! I was talking about this at work the other day and I mentioned the lack of marking. Someone said there is no tackling and on closer watching, he was right!

Also, no defending the posts on corners. Whenever the camera pans back there is no one moving into space!

Some entertaining games though.

Rooting for the 'sceptic tanks' tonight, obviously :pop:

Forgot to say that it makes for much better viewing with no cheating/diving! Well done England. Bad luck!

lololol

2-0 within 5 minutes!

No marking! No one defending the posts!

I should have put a bet on!
