Accident and Emergency figures for last week.

Post by Mike » Fri Dec 19, 2014 6:15 pm

Apparently over 440,000 people used the English hospital's A & E departments last week.

Just under half a million people in one week, just why? - no ice, no snow and a week before Christmas !

It infuriates me greatly when I see criticism of A and E. Journalists NEVER question the fact that many cases attending A and E [particularly at the week-end] are there for self-inflicted injuries or illnesses, drunkenness, falling over as a result and hurting oneself, drugs etc., If these stupid people looked after themselves more then there would be more money and space around for people who GENUINELY require treatment!!!!!. Makes me very angry!!

Hi Mike/John :P

You do not need me to tell you just how much I agree with you on this point :Wow:

Let the drunken/drugged-up vermin choke on their own vomit in the gutters in their dozens, so that just one genuine case can be seen just a little bit quicker when they need to :@

Rant over: Happy Christmas, guys ;)

No rant Paddy just the truth!!

Number of times I`ve been in court and "thing" in the dock said I only did it because I was drunk.....so that's the excuse used in mitigation!!!!

No sympathy from yours truly, don't care if the prisons are overcrowded.....they volunteered to be in court....no one forced them

Merry Christmas all.....my rant over
