New Series of G.F Newman's The Corrupted. starts 20th, April,2020

Starting this week on BBC Radio 4 is the new series Starring Toby Jones as gangster Joseph Olinska the series has now got to the 1980s the play is on every afternoon this week at 14.15pm to 15.00 and usually runs to 2 weeks.

I did'nt realise it was on I thought it would be just another play, so I was very pleased I chose radio this afternoon.

There is a write up in Thursday 28th, June 2018 Television and Radio section. Just as Olinkska is about to be given a Knighthood, sealing
his acceptance into the Establishment, a snag arises. His stepson Brian who is serving life for as crime he did not commit, launches
an appeal. He knows that Olinska is the guilty party, and he is determined to prove it.

It is comfirmed that the series is in a further 5 parts being aired next week. G.F. Newman is the main scriptwriter for Judge John Deed.

If you enjoy this radio series try reading Jake Arnott's "Long Firm" trilogy. Wonderfully seedy 1960s to 1980's. They are briliantly written as well.

A new series of The Corrupted in 10 episodes starts on Monday the 20th, April, 2020 they will be on R4 Mon-Frid 14.15 to 15.00pm
over two weeks.

The return of the saga that weaves fiction with real characters from history to follow the fortunes of the Oldman family, its the
1990s and Brian Oldman is still in jail for a crime he did not commit.
