Yes you can !, Try firstly write a letter to the base OC ( officer commanding) then await response explain yourself & the reasons, you never know what might happen. You can pay for a flight as i know a couple people who did this. The cash went to upkeep of the jets, a small price to pay for a dream come true day.

I think it is impossible unless you have a contact or contacts in the right place who can arrange something.

It does and has happen but they don't give out flights that cost thousands willy nilly, either join the RAF or go to Russia or france and pay 3-4 thousand to pay for a flight in a l-39 or a mig 29 jet in Russia.Every one would love a flight in a fighter jet,but unfortunately its rare and is half the reason we stand the other side of the fence and admire the lucky souls that do fly themfor a living :S
May the skies be clear and blue and the wind fair with a guiding star to steer by.

You could joint the air Training Corps, either as an Air Cadet or Instructor. Then hope your squadron goes on summer camp to Valley or Leeming and you are very very lucky! Many years ago I was in the Royal Observer Corps and managed flights in various RAF aircraft - Britannia, Andover, Chipmunk, C-130K, Chinook and (best of all) a Hawk. Unfortunately the ROC was stood-down about 20 years ago, otherwise a Typhoon would have really been something to aim for!

Why do you think that you won't be able to get a flight from RAF Boulmer?

Of course, all the time, aren't they yellow in colour haha ? :P

I am based at boulmer and have been fortunate to have a flight in a hawk via contacts etc.

So although you won't fly from RAF boulmer , you can certainly organise flights from RAF boulmer
