Just got home to find I'd missed the CFC2502 CC-130J 130612 coming in with RT fail and landing 30 around 1240.

CFC2502 CC-130J 130612 departed runway 30 at 1151 heading West.

CFC2502 turned around over the SW of the Isle of Mull and recalled Prestwick radar at 1222 saying returning with a partial communications failure leaving FL95 for 80.
At 1232 whilst downwind descending to 4,000ft a full RT comms failure happened (possible stuck mic or other radio equipment failure). Crew selected 7600 and announced that they'd self position for ILS runway 30.
Aircraft landed around 1240 and had a 'live' cockpit mic for another 8 minutes or so.

1st is the Radio comms between 1222 and 1236, 5min29secs
2nd is 'live' mic from the Herc after landing from 1244, 8min17secs

near the end of the 2nd you can hear the female pilot getting her selfie with 7600 on the transponder, lol
