Re: Joint Warrior
there are 2 atlantiques(2 & 6), 4 hawks(205,303,307,337), 5 or 6 Falcon 20`s, a P-3C(163001) and a NP-3C(158204).
Re: Joint Warrior
A word of warning, Lossie is VERY VERY quiet, only launched 3 jets today, there's only 14 Sqn flying, no sign of the Germans, although the crews were seen driving on the ringroad.
Cheers Niall

Re: Joint Warrior
I'll be around tomorrow, in various locations, hoping to photograph something interesting (like an aircraft in the air for example).
I'm thinking my expectations are a bit on the high side though......

Re: Joint Warrior
Both US P3s departed Saturday. One of the French ATL left on Friday night as FMN5624.
Re: Joint Warrior
i believe one went back the states early morning and one to Sigonella, anyone know which one went early morning or lunch time?
thanks.
thanks.
Re: Joint Warrior
The remaining ATL2 has been conducting ASW / ASuW Ops over the Minches all afternoon as "9QF", working with "0RW"
I haven't had sight of 0RW, but if both USN P-3s have gone home, this must have been the Canadian Aurora. Can anyone confirm if the Canadians have been flying today?

Re: Joint Warrior
Sounds like the CP-140 has a problem, so they're holding to burn some gas before going into Kinloss.
He says he's recovering in 20 minutes.

Re: Joint Warrior
Ended up recovering after 3 o'clock post-conducting several tests. The callsign was 6DZ and should be CAF CP-140 140103.
Re: Joint Warrior
A French Navy Atlantique departed at 21:30 tonight as FNY5628. However when I checked the base at 21:45 there was an Atlantique on the deck. It looks like they've had a swap over today and No.6 has returned home (As FNY5628) after completing all of its allotted missions and a second one has taken its place arriving at some point today.
I've been at Aberdeen for most of the day today so I don't really have a clue what's been going on, but ill confirm tomorrow morning what the serial of the Atlantique currently on the deck is

Re: Joint Warrior
Just been woken up by French Navy 5112 departing at 01:30, he said his destination was LFTW with 25 POB. Looks like Chris is correct and the one earlier, or maybe this one, was support for the other.
I don't suppose anyone else got the serial of the one that arrived earlier?
Edit: It looks like French Atlantique No.6 (From 23F, Lorient) was the one that departed as FNY5628 last night and theother Atlantique, FNY5112, that departed to LFTW (Garons) in the small hours of this morning was the support aircarft, as it came from 21F at Garons (Hence its destination)
