Re: Joint Warrior
US Navy Herc Departed today at 0900 hrs and it's not supposed to return. Unsure though. Also the US Navy P3 is due to go out at 9300 hrs and is set to return later in the day. Nothing on the expected CP140s yet..

Re: Joint Warrior
Thanks for the above replies, was wondering if the ex would go ahead at all because of the goings on in Libya, olso as the ex was cut short due to the ash cloud last time I would assume all parties would be keen to get this one off the ground! Regards Iain.

Re: Joint Warrior
Il no doubt be dotting around both Lossie and Kinloss as usual
Jonay, there's a NP3C at Kinloss at present, it's been flying daily sorties, might be active tomorrow and there's a USN C130T in also, but I'd think it would depart at some point tomorrow
Also: There's at least 2 German Tonkas at Lossie, apparently arrived Friday morning and went into 12 Sqn.

1 FRADU Hawk flew up on Thursday (XX303), 3 more to follow tomorrow.typhoon4 wrote:Hi all, is there any word on Joint Warrior participants yet?? Thanks in advance, Iain.
I believe they are leaving VLN early PM so should be up at Kinloss mid afternoon.
Possible cabs could be some FN100 jets, certainly they had been the most active last week...

Re: Joint Warrior
3 x FN100 jets left VLN for Kinloss today in formation, first time since the SHARs I've seen a 3-ship 'residents' take-off!
Cannot confirm serials at this point, but I've got the feeling it was XX205, XX301 and XX337 - certainly at least two of those three (4th option is XX159).
Kind regards,
Mark
