Apaches operating from Kinloss

Post by Thunder » Sun May 13, 2018 6:38 pm

Over the weekend I’ve been surprised to see that the Apaches have been operating out of Kinloss. On Friday night we had at least two operating around Inverness at 2230, then on Saturday at least two flew over the town at 1930 and again tonight another lot flew over on their way to Kinloss.

Does anyone know where they are conducting their training?

They've been very active over Inverness over the weekend and today we had a single a/c fly West about 1245, then a pair just after 1500, a pair then returned from the West at about 1600 very low over the house (not more than 200ft), followed by another pair just after 1700 these went into Inverness Airport but had departed when I arrived just before 1800.

Quite possibly Allan, when Hunter departed, Lossie asked if no.4 was catching up as they were down as being a 4 ship, they told Lossie that no.4 was working a problem and were unsure if he'd be departing. No sign of an apache at Kinloss 1740L this evening, or not at least where they've been operating from.
Cheers Niall
