Says moving to Fareham, Co locate with Coastguard perhaps? They were advertising jobs there at Kinloss a couple of months ago, I considered applying....close call!!

2.5 miles between NATS HQ in Fareham and NATS operation centre (if that's what it's called, I can't remember!) at Swanwick - hence my thinking

Im waiting with baited breath on the communications side of it , especially any news on HF transmissions. Kinloss could not function without it especially in remote areas, although a certain percentage is TETRA these days. I have read that the new civilian operator will be Sat Comm equiped to allow phone calls to be made. We will have to wait and see !
