Was there a reason given for the divert?

Sorry Calum, I didn't hear anything, was only the almighty roar on the overshoot that alerted me, it sounded more like a take off! They weren't on the tower frequency, it was all on approach, including taxiing.

F-15 is currently outside HAS 21 (old QRA). It has engine problems and may require engine change. So will be here for a while.

Maul 21 departed in spectacular fashion at 14.45 today 01/11, performance take off, staying low on full power along the length of the runway, before pulling straight up over the fence! Fantastic sight and sound! :D

Hi Mike, I certainly heard the take off from my in-laws
back garden but didn't see it . Was it the F15 that was under
repair ? Also I noticed a King Air on circuits shortly after as
well.

Presumably Dave, and yes, there was a King Air in the radar pattern also.
