Looks like both Shadow ZZ419 Snake 49 and King Air G-LBSB have both been up there today and Herc ZH886 Zorro 1 is currently south very low down the Northumberland coast no doubt admiring the fantastic scenery !

ZK 558 is currently on the ground at Carlisle undergoing a Wee bit of maintenance.
Presume it's been working at Spadeadam.

Monday Night

Last night we popped down on the off chance of seeing some traffic.

20.00 BST approx both previously mentioned Hercs on ground between hangars engines running. Both left about 15 minutes later. At same time two Chinooks on Guardbridge side beside HAS engines running after arrival for a good 20 minutes. Had to leave before they left.

I am led to believe similar stuff tonight so going to pop down with binoculars this time!

As said absolutely fantastic to see military aircraft using RAF Leuchars..oops ....Leuchars Station again.

of manoeuvres overhead the base and out to the east of it. There
is 2 Cobham Falcons out to the east as well

Hello all,
Took a chance to catch up with the goings on at Leuchars!

No Lynx noted this time, but both Chinooks and the Shadow were noted down the old 111 site and the 2 Hercs were noted playing in the circuit. Best of all for me was 2 PBN Defenders on ASP1 in the shape of ZG997 and ZH005.
Arabest,
Geoff.
