Small jet just went overhead Alness. Only caught tail end by the time I ran out but it looked a bit like a Jet Provost. It was headed SE towards Nairn direction. Any ideas anyone? Cheers. Stevie.

There's a JP based at Inverness I believe.

Many thanks np1991. I had no idea there was one based in Inverness. Certainly haven't seen it in the area before.

Coincidentally someone on my FB timeline, Mike Brandford I think (Zuckerberg has now hidden the post from me) just mentioned the Inverness JP.

Looks like they were planning to be out and about today, I’d no idea there was one there until I saw this thread.

The Jet Provost registration G-JPRO and marked as XW 433/124 has been a resident at Inverness since 12/17. Fairly active at weekends.
