Post by Ross Forsyth » Thu May 17, 2018 12:07 pm

A quick stop as I was making my way from Aviemore to Troup Head for the afternoon, wasn`t expecting much with I believe 1sqn on nights and I wasn`t disappointed

G-COBS DA-42 shooting approaches before landing
???? Jetstream Eastern Airways

On 1sqn Line
ZK314 6sq mks

Had seen a couple of Tucanos on my way up from Aviemore but nothing there when I arrived, there were chocks on the visitor area for what looked like 4 more visitors, did the Apaches appear again before they went home?

There had been 2 Easterns in but no Apaches yesterday afternoon. 1st Typhoon movement was Jedi flight @ 16.30, both of which carried out a performance takeoff.

5 Typhoons departed between 22.00 and 22.30 returning around about midnight.

3 Tucanos were about this morning seen passing through the overhead heading towards Leuchars.
