Sounds like a really exciting day, wonder if the organisers have been to a recent JW at Lossie.

Would rather attend a "one-off" Airshow for RAF100 at RAF Lossiemouth. Ever since Leuchars has gone I have always hoped for a miracle that Lossie would one day attempt to hold an Airshow.

I've got some magic beans for sale if anyone is interested, just so happens they are £75 a time as well.

But Niall, it's in the blurb. :D There's not a lot there for JW, and from keeping an eye on all the lossie activity logs, there are some pretty quiet days up there.

They cant even get the aircraft correct in their Ad correct...CP-130 or have the Canadians just received a new type without the world being informed. They haven't even put a shot of Lossie Typhoons, all the images are Coningsby based unit...I ask you

75 Quid is just ridiculous, but no doubt some will pay it. Add to that travel and accommodation costs and it suddenly becomes silly expensive.

It's always 'grating' to be asked to pay for what was previously free! Fortunately for you local guys Lossie affords really good views from outside which helps with the financial issue & mitigates the risk of a 'slow' day. ;)
There will no doubt be a raft of affluent 'Southern Softies' willing to spend a minimum of £200+ on a risk of filling their boots! (Travel to/from LGW + Airport parking + Air-fare + Share Hire-car + Event ticket. based on 4 sharing?)
On the plus side... it aint a nightshoot, weather permitting  On the negative side I'm personally not a fan of in your face operational shots, notwithstanding the rampies/aircrew NOT wanting their faces plastered over tinternet?

You don't have to be a member to do this as far as I can see on the booking form, so it's only the asking 75quid to pay. That however is pretty steep I think EVEN AS A SOUTHERN SOFTIE Mr Supra! ;)
Cheers

Filling their boots, I bet they will get just one Typhoon to shoot, probably inside a HAS, and of course unmarked. As for the MPAs it will depend on whats on the ground and if the foreign crews will play the game, which is not always guaranteed

Typhoon wise you'll be lucky if 2 Sqn have four jets outside. The MPAs well, Wednesday you might get lucky with one possibly two movements but on the Thursday, they'll all be on the deck and be getting ready to go home either that afternoon/evening or the Friday. Not really worth £75, I'll take my chances outside the fence.
