Can anyone assist in the identity of this C130 seen in the Lossie circuit at about 1615 yesterday?

Hex 29CBB8 showing on my box at 1707L FL27 with CNY6263 in the c/s box with 'VARIOUS' in the reg box must be somewhere in the South of UK

Hi Niall,
Need to know if you got a shot of Herc 165158, as I have got CNV6263 having 3 Hex codes, 165158 is showing as AE03E6, and 165348 showing Hex codes AE03EC/29CBB8 the last one 29CBB8 I have only showing as 165348 so if you have a photo of 165158 then I'll know there are definite duplicates of HEX Codes which I have suspected for a while now - can't beat are American friends. If your photo is positive then I'll have to be more careful with the info I get from SBS???
Many Thanks
Pete

Hi Pete,
Hex [29CBB8] is one of those volatile hex codes.
It has been used by (to my knowledge) at least 4 different USN KC/C-130Ts, at least 2 different USMC KC-130Ts and an E-6!!! All of these were eyeball identifications. Funnily enough, 165348 was not one of the "offending" serials.
The previous confirmed identity of hex [29CBB8] was in Prestwick 03-04/05/2017 when it was 165158/CW.
