Re: BAF211
Just had an F-16 pair pass low-level over the top of Alness heading toward Dingwall - I assume these were probably two of the Belgian aircraft? Very unusual to see them pass so low over the town - Tornados heading to the Tain AWR pass that low, but they track along the Firth. Hard to judge their altitude, and they weren't showing up on the tracking site I use, but they looked to be at about the altitude I usually see the Coastguard or the occasional Chinook operating at.

Heard but never saw them go over work at same time. Couldn't run fast enough. Did wonder what it was so good to find out. Cheers.

Re: BAF211
They came from the Milnafua end of town, right over the top of us at Teaninich Street and out over Westford. Very unusual to see aircraft that low passing directly over the town, and I've never seen military aircraft do it - rotary wing things like the Chinooks are around that height, but even they tend to be out over the Milnafua end.

Yes very strange indeed. Just typical I was in work. The big hangar at RAF Evanton. Are they here for JW?
