Well done Al and let's raise a toast also to the Hotel Boxpill whose warm and dry
interior will be remembered from a very wet day.

Cracking day, despite the weather. Pleasure to see the squadron getting a good send-off, and the flypasts/mock attacks were executed with style (particularly 079!). Also nice to meet a few members and chat briefly
Re: Log Lossiemouth - Friday 17/3/17
Well done, that man.
Your A400 was 0031/F-RBAH according to ADS-B.
Will have to query F-TEME. I cannot find an Alpha Jet with this callsign. Could it possibly be F-TENE??
Many thanks for your persistence in the inclement weather.
Cheers,
Bob

Did the PDF continue onto Kef or have they night stopped at Lossie? Would seem strange to conduct a long over water leg in the dark.

PDF all nightstopping. Don't know departure times.
Many thanks for A400 serial that was what I thought it was. Alpha Jet No 8 amended.
Felt pens and soggy logbooks not always a good idea

Re: Log Lossiemouth - Friday 17/3/17
Can anyone ID the 2 Merlins that took off after the Tornados had done their thing?
By the look of it, one was coded 'CU' on the tail, and the other wasn't!
Many thanks.

Historic day indeed, pity i could not make it up but saw " Poker flt" go through ABZ so thats something another type added to the growing list of jets that i have had the pleasure seeing up in Moray in the last 30 years all thats left now are the memory's and the photographs
Re: Log Lossiemouth - Friday 17/3/17
They did indeed night stop Scott and are in fact delayed until this afternoon because of the weather in Kef.Thunder wrote:Did the PDF continue onto Kef or have they night stopped at Lossie? Would seem strange to conduct a long over water leg in the dark.
