According to the chap who led the Enthusiasts Event at Lossie on Wednesday, they only have two Tornados left now - the current MacRobert's Reply and 119, both of which are being used for the disbandment parade today, I believe.

There were 6 on the line at Lossie on the final day of XV Sqn operations ( 17th March) and possibly a further 1 aircraft elsewhere. I am not aware of any Tornado departures from Lossie since the 17th. I believe that some will go to Marham and some will go to RTP. Departures will probably begin from next week once they recover from the hangover of todays disbandment events.

Seems like Lossie was done, so 5 Marham Tonkas took off, 1 bugged out and went back to base.

4 Assualted Lossie, and landed. 3 decided to head home and 1 stayed ONS

1 went tech over Tain, as they got there 25 minutes early, and so did some stuff there before the flyby and demo, breaking the old bird.
I don't know what reg the broken one was but hope it wasn't Pinky.

Not a bad beat up in poor weather, so plenty of bright burners and vapour off the wings during the, oh so short, demo.

Hi, pretty sure there was no tech issue. Jackal 5 was "whipper in" and was cleared off once they were all formed up and in shape. He could (just) be seen streaking across the sea W-E at low level a few mins prior to the 4-ship flybys. According to my PPm and Gary's heads up posts it was ZA550.

I've heard that the pink one is U/S, and hasn't been flying recently.
