Thanks for the heads up but presume this is for Wednesday 15/3 and is in relation to the Eurofighter transit to KEF on 16/3.Lofty89 wrote:Italian Atlantique due into Lossie 14/3/17 as IAM4112 at 1353z

Re: Due 15/3/17
Are the Eurofighters due to fuel-stop at Lossie or is the Atlantic due to provide Comms/Nav en-route?.
Re: Due 15/3/17
Are those Czech Grippens still at Keflavik, and are they likely to route back through Lossie?

Re: Due 15/3/17
I think the Czech deployment concluded at the beginning of November, but I'm not sure whether they routed back through Lossie when they headed home. I'm not sure who took over from them - possibly no-one until this new deployment?
Re: Due 15/3/17
Czech Gripens went home on November 2nd but got a tanker.
Unlike the Baltic Air Policing mission the Icelandic one isn't always manned and I don't think anyone replaced the Gripens.

Re: Due 15/3/17
The Icelandic deployment only happens three times a year and last from 2-4 weeks -usually 3-4 weeks.
The Italians will be the first one of 2017, I believe.

Is the Atlantique still there, and what's happening with the Italian Typhoons?
