Chinook LL in Scottish Borders

Post by toom317 » Wed Dec 14, 2016 7:46 pm

Heard a Chinook around 18.00 jinking around. Didn't see it but my brother said he saw it above some trees then disappeared low to the East. Anything on at Charterhall tonight?

Chinook ZH775 SHF583 showing as southbound over the Yorkshire Dales and appears to have come down from the Borders area north of Carlisle and could be your chopper ?

Went into Craigiehall earlier on,not sure if it dropped into EDI for fuel or if it went enroute after lifting again.

Callsign was Vortex 583
