I thought we might start at the beginning when Warton was known as B.A.D. 2 this thread gives the history of Warton from the late 1930s B.A.D. 2 Stands for Base Air Depot 2. B.A.D.1. was Burtonwood.

Thanks again Graham. In this video clip you have 693 with and without over wing tanks. At the
beginning of the video are two well known Warton favourites, one is the Buccaneer and other is
the late lamented Baz Livesey doyen of Wartons Ground crews, Baz is the one with the mop of
blond hair standing next to the houchin starter.

The last minute of the Lightning was very nostalgic because Keith Hartley was flying 693 I
remember him flying down 26 from east to west and banking over the 22 Saudi Lightnings.

I have checked all the You tube Videos that I have downloaded on page 1 for the month of February 2010 they number over 90 as some other videos have been downloaded by Graham and other the total video count is over 100.
