15:35L - ZF243/LOP30 (Tucano T.1/72R Sqn) ILS then Overshoot)
15:38L - ZF204/LOP420 (Tucano T.1/72R Sqn) ILS then Overshoot)


I did hear a lot of Typhoon activity yesterday but not sure which Typhoons were flying, reports of up to 4x Typhoons

Noted out on 358H fltline late am were ZJ938 (IPA6) & ZK356 (BS117). I believe both flew twice pm....times approx...
IPA6 "Rebel 58" T/O 25 @1239L, Land 25 @ 1351L after t&g? 1348L; "WTN29" T/O 25 @ 1657L land time u/k.
BS117 csign u/k T/O 25 @ 1130L Land 1240?
"Rogue 11" (also 41TES csign like "Rebel") T/O 25 @ 1743L, Land 25 @ 1855L.
Also noted on the MTA late morning was painted typhoon with u/w tanks, photoproofed (just! as very hazy) as ZK432 (BS148).

ZK356 (BS117) T/O 25 @ 1043L and actual callsign (this sortie) was "Rogue 1" although Rogue 11 showing on modeS; yesterdays afternoon sortie (T/O 25 @ 1536L) callsign was actually heard as " Rogue 11" (as per adsb exchange).

"Rebel 58" up again in IPA6 T/O 25 @ 1540L (disappeared quickly into low cloud);
"WTN69" most likely in ZK356 (BS117) T/O 25 @ 1606L back on ground by 1807L;
F20ECM "Tasman 71" seen on climbout 25 @ 1559L appeared to be working with Tarnish 69,
modeS showing it as G-FRAT (was parked on cargo apron as usual); not sure if landed back or continued RTB Teesside after detail.
Not sure about the 4 typhoons - only 2 flew by my reckoning. BS116 also reported out on 358 apron early pm but nothing out on MTA when checked earlier. Its possible T69 was up in BS116 instead of BS117 but both didnt fly.

WTN29 up in IPA6 (seen climbout 25 @ 1627L);
followed by ZK303/AX (BT17) "Rebel 58" (seen climbout 1631L). BT17 being used as target for IPA6 by looks of it.
T29 visual recovery over Lytham rooftops as usual (seen low 1720L) & Land 1722L plus chute streamed (to roll out on a postage stamp! very strong westerly breeze all day); RBL58 more sedate recovery via ILS 25 & land 1727L.

14:50 - Clearly seen off the coast of Blackpool @8000ft with IPA6 trailing close behind and again at 14:57 @12000ft. Impressive sight.

yes Tartan 51 descended from FL340 down to FL 80 around 1420L.
Tasman 71 (G-FFRA) launched 1450L; Tasman 72 (G-FRAT) up at 1454L. WTN69 in BT17 up at 1456L. Rebel 58 up to join the action playing with the Falcons at 1506L in BS117.
Tarnish 29 landed back after a 3hr sortie at 1554L, after t&g 1551L. He did return for 4 low approaches/go rounds 1515-1525L and then back out to west/NW; guess had plenty of fuel!
Rebel 58 landed 1608L joining wide downwind 25. Neither Falcon 20s returned to Warton but went straight back to TeesSide.
Tarnish 69 seen in descent just off coast at 1610L to east for SRA/Talkdown rwy 25; T&gs 1618L, 1620L & fullstop 1622L.
Just another day at the office...Friday is flyday after all.

ZJ938 (IPA6) currently parked outside 358 Hangar

12:55L - ZF407/LOP21 (Tucano T.1/72R Sqn) ILS then Overshoot

IPA6 airborne 1329L flown by Rebel 58 again.
Landed with chute streamed @ 1422L after couple T&Gs.

ZK432 (BS148) airborne on delivery to CGY 1401L flown by WTN29. BS148 fitted with u/w tanks so not sure when due at CGY!

11:32 - ZJ938/WTN29 (IPA6) Low flythrough on descent to EGNO over Blackpool Airport, fantastic
13:00 - ZH001/AAC503 (Defender AL.2) Transiting South to North following coast at 1600ft

IPA6 with Tarnish 29 seen skirting Lytham from NW (thro Blackpool Zone) 1133L then did at least 3 low apprpaches to 07 (1137-1143L); then a SRA (talkdown) to rwy 07 (seen just off Lytham at 1154L) & overshoot followed by 3 more low approaches 07 (1158-1206L); then back out for initials 07 @ 1208L followed by another overshoot and finally landed 07 @ 1213L and streamed chute again.

Rogue 11 up in BS117 (as already posted but not sure when took off); did 2 "strafe attacks" on airfield target 1145/47L and landed 07 @ 1149L.

on rwy 07 again today. times local & approx ! IPA6 up late am "Rebel 58"
T/o 1108 land 1226; did about 5 t&gs on 07 (1204-11; 1216-19) & 2 low approaches (1201/23) after run in from west and initials 1159.

BS117 up twice
"Rogue 11" T/o 1150; Land time u/k.
"Rogue 21" T/o 1534; Land 1653 after 2 strafe attacks on an airfield target (1647/50); think he used runway controller's caravan as tgt for second attack!

Not Warton but noted "over the top" @ 1221L:
CC-144B (CL604) "CFC (CanForce)3248" hexcode
C2B373 serial 144618. @ FL400 in descent for BFS.
