Sounds like a very good day of flying, great log.
Like mentioned T.29 buzzed over Blackpool Airport in NS009 on Return to Warton... who needs Warton ey!

Hi Christian,

Guess an ever diminishing number who still work there need Warton. Keep up with those Tucano movements at Blackpool airport! There can be up to 3 pairs a day from what I've seen, all in for a 'lunchstop'. Hopefully more military heli movements through there since those Wildcats in late April (on a Sat although Warton was flying that day, at least late morning). used to be a fairly regular stream of AAC helis. An occasional sneaky-beaky Islander ("Northolt Station Flt"/5 Regt) used to come in but now fleet sold off. Don't appear to be many hawks doing ILS's to rwy 28 at Blackpool now, all seem to be through Warton at mo on 25. When Southport airshow is on there can be interesting military (ex mil) stuff based there, like the Norwegian Historic Flight Vampire duo + SBLim-2 (MiG-15) last year and a F-86 on a previous occasion.

Cheers
