Anyone see the 747 land at Warton in the last hour.
He landed on 07 so didn't come over Preston.

Presumably carrying the first Hawks kits for assembly in KSA.

It certainly left with several boxes, a wing set and a fuselage on board as I watched from afar as they loaded it.

The primer Typhoon was ZK428 (BS144) according to my sources.

Just the one Hawk, the first of 22 to be assembled by BAe in KSA.

Believed to have been ST024 (not the first following on in sequence from initial 22 aircraft order ie ST023). Presume a tailplane was in one of those boxes! ST024 reported as the "1000th" Hawk airframe produced? Presume that will include the Indian production figures?
Cheers

Good point re T-45 Goshawk production. Note the T-45 centre + rear fuselage sections were built/assembled at Samlesbury (3A shed) and the wingsets and tailplanes at Brough - certainly for the earlier batches.

I believe the numbers do include Goshawks.
