His callsign was Tarnish 14 when he was flying the Hawk T1/1As which used to be on loan for Customer instructor training.
He used this callsign when flying ex saudi strikemaster G-FLYY out of warton on fri 4/8 and when he arrived on 1/8. See previous posting.
Tarnish was apparently used by Roly Beamont's unit during WW2.
