A quality rather than quantity sort of day highlight being an A 400 M Atlas on approach to blackpool and venturing near to the Warton overhead before lining up on Blackpool before climbing away.

We had a Dauphine with an Ascot callsign, Tarnish 29 in a single seater Typhoon he rotated from runway 25 with afterburner burning brightly against a darkened sky
and all to quickly disappeared into cloud. on his return to the circuit Tarnish 29 flew a couple of T & Gs before landing.

The mound was completely full with a variety of cars, apart from Mike's nice Mercedes, there was a superb rover 827 24 valve H regd what a nice motor.

Tango 21 was in the Royal Saudi Tornado on slot 21 south side revving up the RB 199s mid afternoon. Our Ex Warton technos explained that it takes a long time
to sort out the RB 199s after engine tests and surmised that the Saudi Tornado would probably fly either tomorrow or Friday but don.t shoot the messenger if this
doesn't happen.
