Re: Operational Log for March/April 2016.
Log for Wednesday the 13th, April, 2016 I was in Lytham St Annes when I saw the RSAF Tornado fly over the town centre roundabout 11.00am today. I witnessed it land at Warton after doing a touch and go.
At 14.43pm Typhoon AX ZK 303 taxied down R 25 did a 180 opposite to Granvilles Gate first Tarnish 29 spooled up the EJ 200s up to military power before engaging
afterburner he rotated at charlie and a steady climb ensued before the pilot pulled the stick back and AX rocketed upwards with the afterburners glowing, after a few minutes Tarnish 29 brought AX into the Warton overhead just east of the runway creating a nice vapour trail.
During the day T2 Hawk caught us unawares as if flew down the runway flying off towards Valley.
