I arrived at Warton around lunchtime just as Royal Saudi Tornado (TSP) coded 703 was being towed back into 358 hangar a check on cargo revealed the tail on an
AN 12 which had landed mid morning the rest of the fuselage wasn't visible.
16.12 Tarnish 9 taxied out from the north side in a Primer Hawk ZB 103 along runway 25 turned opposite the mound wound up the engine to an almost deafening
pitch before accelerating along 25 and rotated just short of Charlie taxiway.
Just a reminder to those members of Avro Lancashire who took up my advice to join The Warton Brranch of The Royal Aeronautical Society there is a meeting
At The Canberra Club at Salmesbury at 20.00 on Wednesday the 24th February 2016 the subject is AH 64 Apache Home and away.

An12 UR-CGW seen on climbout off 25 in a LH turn to POL at 1709z usual callsign UKL4055. Has this airfrane been in before??
ST003/ZB103 on its 3rd flt callsign Tarnish 9 recovered via radar to ILS but then performed 2 tower flybys as they appeared to be checking nosewheel alignment. It landed safely streaming the chute at 1702z as the antonov was waiting to backtrack rwy for departure.
All in a day's work.

Saw the An12 over Preston but would have said it was very close to mid-day. Flightracker showed it had departed Sofia.
