It was a re-delivery Ian, I heard it take off then saw it fly over the factory at 11.50am it was definately a black c/s, but I was in my garden in Elloughton so too far for a serial number. Regards Paul.

I forgot to post last Week. I saw a Hawk out on the airfield last Wednesday. The first aircraft I have seen there (apart from the Bucc) for about ten years. Did it fly out ?

The new build R.A.F T2's have been flying out of Brough for some time now. There have also been some "re-deliveries" of previously delivered aircraft that have been back for bringing up to production standard as in the case of the flight test aircraft,or mods. The primer one's are obviously new builds, and black re-deliveries. I didn't hear anything take off or see it on the Wednesday, but can't be sure as we don't get any photo reports from Warton anymore, and if we missed them they usually caught them on landing.Regards Paul.

Hi

Thank you for your reply. I try to keep up to date here about what is flying out but have not seen any myself. This aircraft was black. Lots of yellow jackets milling about but not much seemed to be happening. I was on the train at the time so no further details I`m afraid.

Thanks for serial number MCB. Ben, if you passed early in the morning the airside crew would be prepping the a/c for flight, the pilot is usually flown in from Warton in a light aircraft. The last one I saw was zk016, todays was Zk018 so the one you saw could have been ZK017 but don't hold me to it.
Regards Paul.
