Linton on October 10, 2013

Post by Shy Talk » Mon Oct 14, 2013 7:35 pm

Hi Folks

Couple of queries.

Two choppers nightstopped here on 9/10/13. One was Merlin ZJ132/Q, the other was a Chinook. Can anyone confirm the Chinook.

Also, looking at my pix on't puter, I was surprised to see a pair of Soko Kraguj parked behind the Chinook.

Unluckily for me, it was too windy for the Tucanos on the tenth- so that was me lot!

ta. :D

I believe ZH900 was also around. Did you read 896 that morning? It flew away at about 0900?

Turns out the pair of Kraguj were 30140 & 30146. Both based and ex Yugoslav AF.

Oh well, clearly it could have been either....

Any chance you could post your photo of 896, please. There may be distinguishing features...
