Hi All,Vulcan7 wrote:She was on an air test apparently, the EEC being selected to manual as part of it at around 1500ft, as soon as it was selected to manual the engine flamed out. Unsure as to why the prop wasn't feathered or as to why the gear wasn't lowered.
As a non-technical newbie, and certainly without the insider knowlege of, say, smiler16, just thought I'd chip in with information from our window cleaner (who normally knows everything happening in the world, ever) .
He 'heard' that the crew had been unable to lower the undercarriage and were making low passes to enable those on the ground to get a look, and on the last (which may possibly have also been the first) of these the engine failed, hence the wheels-up landing.
Hope this doesn't sound too simplistic.
best,

Doesn't sound simplistic at all Graham. I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case however.grey wrote:Hi All,Vulcan7 wrote:She was on an air test apparently, the EEC being selected to manual as part of it at around 1500ft, as soon as it was selected to manual the engine flamed out.
