Tonka on the Ground

Seen this afternoon were

Tonka on the ASP coded 049 (ex 41 Sqn markings)
Another Tonka in the hush house coded 022 back to Hangar 1
4 more Tonkas seen on the right hand side in there. One nearest the door is 035 I think. Last one is ex 15 Sqn. Any help with these, greatly appreciated

I gather that ZD741 'MacRobert's Reply' is not scheduled to be broken up any time soon and is likely to head into storage. Hopefully those RTP vultures will keep their scavenging claws off her.

They are all stored until needed.

And going on the post shared by Gary in the Marham section.

Marham are taking over spares recovery and disposal to wherever that may be for the last 33 after the next 3 jets have gone to Leeming.
