OK thank you .
It's under review at the moment due to littering . The waste bins have been removed and two boards have been placed there asking for people to take their rubbish home with them and I just wondered if people were complying ?
I know it's also used by the passing public but the aviation community needs to do their bit to keep it tidy . :halo:

The 3rd Chinook is coded AN, parked nose on to the viewing area.

Didn't see the 5th Alpha Jet this afternoon, may have been hangared after arrival? The other 4 were all flying, back by 4.15 and first one hangared already so looks like they will probably all be indoors over the weekend

Thanks for all who posted the info

E11 was the additional one suspect that E135 had gone tech this morning so this brought spare part or is a replacement

Hi MG

The MoD Sponsored Air Exercise website (URL below) contains details of an 'Exchange Detachment' - presumably referring to the AdlA Alpha Jet deployment to Leeming - which is expected to end on Friday 16th; so one expects they'll go back to Cazaux on or around that date.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -exercises

Best wishes.

A quick visit on Sat 10th June @ 1515, three Chinooks still parked outside, identified as ZA670, ZA705 & ZA720, one of the three is coded AN the remaining two did not appear to carry codes.
No sign of activity around any of the helicopters

Yes they flew today using a call sign that sounded like Macfly?

One of the Alphas requested a low level fly past on its return from the afternoon sortie.... a possible sign they may be departing for home tomorrow.

Quick visit last night at 6pm - 4 alphas on the ramp with covers on canopies and 3 chinook's just winding down.

The visitors area was immaculate with no rubbish anywhere.
