The Red Arrows were reported as being seen flying in formation off Tees Mouth this morning and I saw a Hawk two-ship in the Teesside circuit around 11:00 when the weather was still fair . The wind and rain didn't appear until early afternoon .

There was also a NOTAM for the closure of Leeming this afternoon , presumably after any flypast ? ;
U0548/17: Leeming: Aerodrome closed
Q) EGTT/QFALC/IV/NBO/A/000/999/5418N00132W005
AIRFIELD CLOSED
FROM: 23 Feb 2017 12:00 GMT TO: 24 Feb 2017 08:00 GMT

Thanks but DTV reported the arrows training over the sea near Redcar this morning and the airport closure may have had more to do with a visit from Doris than anything else. Still no indication of what was involved in this flyover/ or if it took place.

Some cadets from my squadron where on a base visit today, they said the only activity they saw was a 3 ship of hawks from 100 sqn. I wasn't on the visit myself so can't confirm this for sure though. Hope it helps :)

EDIT: To add to the aerodrome closure NOTAM, Linton-on-Ouse & Topcliffe issued the same NOTAM so would assume it is related to Doris.
