Xingu in Doncaster today

Post by dragonchaser » Fri Nov 10, 2017 4:15 pm

Hi guys, I was hoping someone could help with the confirmed serial of today’s visitor, Xingu CTM1732, it showed as 74 but that is French Navy so sounds suspect. Many thanks for any help.

67 is still French Navy.

However, the Navy do detach aircraft to Avord to undertake training with the AF. Such aircraft are sometimes used on AF flights with "CTM" callsigns - like today.

The Xingu serials displayed on radar sites appear to be very suspect in recent months, I have noted several that don’t match with what has been eyeballed on the ground. :'(
