Sorry for the short notice but there are quite a few flying participants including the Vulcan ;

Armed Forces Day Programme

11:30am - 1 Bn Yorkshire Regiment Freedom Parade led by the Royal Corps of Signals march through the town
12:00pm - Freedom Parade arrives at Southbay for civic formalities
12:10pm - Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (flypast)
12:30pm - Freedom Parade steps off from Formal Area** to fall out at Sandside
13:00pm - Marching Yorkshire Volunteers Band perform at Sandside
13:30pm - Beach Boot-camp demonstration
13:45pm - T.S. Scarborough Sea Cadets demonstration at Sandside
14:15pm - Vulcan Bomber (display) with commentary
14:30pm - Army Cadets demonstration at Sandside, Marching Yorkshire Volunteers Band perfom at Formal Area**
15:00pm - RAF Tucano (display)
15:30pm - Air Cadets demonstration at Sandside
15:45pm - RNLI/SEAKing display with RNLI commentary
16:00pm - Standards, Veterans and Cadets muster at Sandside
16:15pm - Standards, Veterans and Cadets Parade led by the Yorkshire Volunteers Band
16:30pm - Review of Standards, Veterans and Cadets Parade at Formal Area**
16:40pm - Presentation of AFD Flag to Veteran (with citation)
16:45pm - Service of Thanksgiving led by the Vicar of Scarborough
17:00pm - South Bay events end
18:00pm - Armed Forces Day Twilight Naval Warfare Show at Peasholm Park, North Bay
19:30pm - Last Night of the Proms concert at Scarborough Open Air Theatre,

Was a brilliant display last year..couldn't make this years..did you go David?
At the end of the day..it gets dark and you cant see!!!!

Sadly no but the BoBMF came north and put on a display for the Redcar Armed Forces Day and then flew on to Newcastle to refuel before heading further north , or was it west ?
Youth is wasted on the young !
