Was up there yesterday I would plan to get there for around 11am and you wont have much of a wait for flying to start. Its about a 50/50 spilt on who is doing nights so there is some day flying and some night flying.

Cheers,

Andy

I was there today Matt and saw 18 aircraft movements outbound between 1100 and 1600, a mixture of all three units, all the aircraft returned as well. I'll post up some photos later when I've ploughed through them all.

One word of warning make sure that you wear solid waterproof footwear!!! The grassed area alongside the fence that follows the curve of the taxyway all the way to the 22 threshold is sodden with large amounts of lying water and is quite muddy underfoot.

That's good advice from Mr Trenchard! Still, the Harrier's will blow any water away I'm sure!

Visited Cott on the 7/12.

First movement wasnt until 1130. Plenty of movements with 800, 1 and 4 all putting jets up.
