14/12/2010 these are the aircraft that took part in the practise

Whip Ship 2 STRIKER 10 ZG859/91 4Sqn Marks came out of Wittering and was ahead of the formation by about 7-10 mins checked weather and helped whip. But did not stay with formation after the 4 flights had formatted rtb Cottesmore.

Whip Ship 1 STRIKER 01 ZD352/19 4Sqn Marks (G.W on his last trip?).

16 Harriers of "Kestrel Formation"
ZG506
ZD321/02
ZD379/27
ZD467/57A
ZD433/45A
ZG477/
ZG501/72
ZG472/62A

ZD403/32
ZG502/73

Weather Ship (which as it is rightly pointed out was the one that flew infront of the main formation)
ZG530/84 SATAN 1 landed with a hydraulic failure

Cheers,

Andy

Just to confuse things - ZD352 19 was the first aircraft that took off from cottesmore (10 minutes before the main launch). What was he up to? :S

Captain Scarlet is indestructable, you are not! Remember this, do not try to imitate him.
