Formation serials requests 14th and 15th December

Post by GOOSE » Tue Dec 14, 2010 9:21 pm

Ladies and Gents, if the formation goes ahead on 15th December could I please ask that someone collates a log, if possible, of which aircraft actually launch for it. If it's possible to tell us which aircraft actually join the formation even better. Should any spares return that would be great to log too!

A huge number of your fellow enthusiasts, along the route, will appreciate your efforts.

Many thanks.

(and a plea - anyone able to supply the above info for today - 14th?)

Ok Gonna kick this off with COT launches today. I havn't had time to tie all the serials yet but this will be straight forward. I will use the codes carried . My request is for which special marked (s/m) flew with each group.

First Launch
'19' Believed possibly incorrectly to be the weather ship.

Wave 1
s/m (believed to be the camo c/s)
'02'
'27'
'57A'

Wave 2
'45A'
s/m
'72'
'62A'

Wave 3
s/m
'94'
'32'
'73'

Wave 4
'113'
s/m (believed to be ZG858)
'107'
'112'

Then 2 singletons
'105'
'84'

Thanks
Mark

Mark,
The weather checker may have been ZG859/91 as this would make sense as it came through Waddington 10 minutes ahead of the flypast.

Hi Rich..

YES, they most definately do )).

For my part I was trying to get a list together as they departed because I am not sure which special marks a/c was in each group if that makes sense. If you know I would be very grateful.

Also..

As I left on Tues a singleton (Yankee 22 I *think*) did a couple of circuits with hovers, then landed. Please can someone ID this a/c for me. I was too far away and the light almost non existant. Its important to me as its the last RAF Harrier I will ever see fly ((.

Kind Regards
Mark
