Hi Guys :)

Just a quick question :) What is the best way of getting around from crash gate on Hooby Lane to the runway 22 piano keys? Is there a footpath or will I be allowed to walk around the fence??

Thank you for the help :)

Matt :)

I normally just walk up the side of the fence. Families day this year there were aload of people going up and down there all day and wasnt a problem :)

Also for anyone interested

lol from what i can remember its a well trodden path running along the side of a field, It can just about been seen on google earth running along side the fence.

They were on runway 22 today, but according to http://www.xcweather.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the wind could be swinging around so they might switch and be on 04 the rest of the week. Hopefully it will stay in the right direction and allow them to stay on 22

Its a shame about the cloud cover, quite dull really. Hope there is some visitors today, Yesterday evening just before dark a King Air arrived and completed 3 circuits before departing back to Cranwell.

Thanks, Cottesmore09

Could be to get rid of the birds? I know they do it at Cosford when I go flying with cadets, but then they only fire 3 at most then. Howerver cosford is a hell of alot smaller than cottesmore, lol!

Hope you have a good day and they are on runway 22.

There seems to have been reasonable activity today. 1, 4 and NSW call signs all heard. Five 4 Sqn Harriers used Holbeach throughout the day

7 miles visability at Cottesmore with a 10 knot 240 degree wind that will put runway 22 in use for today.

Jedi were up late last night so I'd guess it could be late start for them today.
