Arrived at 10:30 to find caravan at end of 04 and snow in the fields. Lots of vehicles driving around the airfield but only the birds are flying at the moment. Sun is trying to come through so maybe some luck after lunch.

Plan B now in operation. We've gone to the pub. Shame about the lack of flying but sh1te happens. Still better than working.

Yes, 'tis me. Not so disappointed after the results I got when we last me on the fence at Cottesmore but my mate was well gutted today as this was his first opportunity since going digi with a half decent lens for aviation photography and he's only got two day's leave left for the year. Fingers crossed they get the runway cleared by my next visit.
