Hi there

How many flew in the time you were there? ZD470 "Hellcat 2" suffered a bird strike and landed at Cardiff at 2pm.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but does anyone know the serial of the Typhoon that flew through on the 10th? None of my pics show the reg, but I seem to remember overhearing a chap say it was one of the Battle of Britain specials? All I can tell from my shots is it was a 17 Sqn bird...

TIA

Shaun :)

Hi Shaun

This was the chap, it was the BOB tail marked 29 ship, you should be able to cross reference and get the number.

Thanks guys

All my shots either had the tail obscuredor massive reflections on the tail, so was difficult to make out exactly which jet it was, apparently not a 17 Sqn bird after all

Cheers
