I believe the fuselage of Hawk T1 XX232 is sitting at RAF Wittering.

it is, I snapped it early in 2014 on a cold n foggy day. it is (was) in a difficult place to see from outside the base.

Demobbed has it as stored at Shawbury. So its a left over from the Fuselage Replacement mods, presumably?

Think you are right, Tim, and it has to be a left over from the fuselage mod.

The Shawbury hangar tour in June 2014 noted XX232 in Hangar 14 on jigs with a comment about it being destined for the Reds.

i will likely be visiting Wittering in March, will try to remember to see if its still there. No idea why it is at WIT and especially in the area it was plonked down.
