123.300 DEP YES (Not heard this year)
125.350 RAD APPROACH YES
127.350 ZONE YES (Also used to give clearance to R313 at times)
231.800 PAR YES RADAR
231.800 RAD DUPLICATE
234.625 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
243.400 OPS YES (Alpha Handheld Radios)
250.850 RAD S06 YES does talk downs also
250.850 APP DUPLICATE AS ABOVE
256.675 AIR S02 YES TOWER
257.800 AIR YES TOWER (Not heard this year)
259.525 ZONE YES
259.650 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
280.050 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
291.675 ATIS YES
308.625 DEP S03 YES
342.125 GMC YES GROUND
344.000 RAD YES (Not heard this year)
344.325 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
362.300 RAD YES (Also Nationwide Army Joint Ops Frequency (OAS/JTAC/TACP) according to my notes) (Not heard this year)
378.500 FIN S05 YES APPROACH/DIRECTOR
378.500 FIN DUPLICATE
385.400 RAD YES (Not heard this year)
386.625 OPS YES 8sq
408.725 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
408.750 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
409.175 OPS YES GROUND MAINTAINANCE HANDHELDS (Not heard this year)
409.515 OPS YES (Not heard this year)
409.800 AIR YES
409.950 OPS YES (Not heard this year)

Then in addition

132.9 DIRECTOR
277.775 DEPARTURES
298.475 5sq OPS (Not heard this year)
308.5 DIRECTOR
308.62 TALKDOWN/DIRECTOR
317.5 GROUND MAINTAINANCE (Not heard this year)
362.2 APPROACH (Not heard this year)
362.3 RADAR (Not heard this year)
379.95 OPPS (Not heard this year)

To explain I have written YES if I have them on my list. Every new year I start marking the frequencies if I hear them, so the ones with "(Not heard this year)" are just that, it doesn't mean they are not in use, just I haven't heard them in use yet this year. I don't spend a long time monitoring though, hence why I am still saying yes. I've also added any information I have jotted down next to them to confirm their usages. Then listed ones that I have listed that you haven't mentioned.

The last NATO STUD list as published in the Manual of Military Air Traffic was:

317.5 STUD 1 NATO Combined Navigational/Fixer/Guard
257.8 STUD 2 Combined Tower
385.4 STUD 3 Combined GCA/Talkdown
344.0 STUD 4 Combined GCA/Marshall/Search
362.3 STUD 5 Combined Approach Control

However, after listening at Waddington I am totally confused as I have heard different stud numbers used for different frequencies to the point that I don't have a clue about STUD numbers and how they work. Sorry I can not help much more.

Just an opinion, you both deserve a medal for all that. It must take ages.

Haha, it did take a while, with four scanners it can be a nightmare to keep it all organised. As I said every year I clear a box next to every frequency and start ticking them off when I hear stuff. Just to keep it in order for Airshow time when the radios are rammed. I will put my frequency list up at sometime as I also monitor UHF/VHF Guard channels to so if anything like that happens hopefully I will hear it. Then the base takes 1000 frequencies but then handhelds take only 200 so you have to work out what to prioritise.

I have posted my Frequency list for RAF Waddington Only online at http://www.kryptonfish.com/imagehosting ... e_2013.pdf

Couple of notes, ignore any stud numbering, the channel numbers on the sheet are for my scanners to keep them organised, where 2013 is written this means I have heard something on this frequency in 2013 so when blank I have not. I have split them into 2 banks, the "theory" is when Waddington gets busy I can drop to scanning this bank only and I should know if anything is going to land or take off. The bank on the right is stuff further from the field being managed by Waddington Radar to cut out stuff just transiting through. However I have not tried this in practice at Waddington yet.

My frequency list for the Waddington Airshow 2013 for my 200 channel handheld (Pro 26) Scanners is online too at: http://www.kryptonfish.com/imagehosting ... w_2013.pdf

Notes re file: Its set up in banks so I can quickly scan more banks or less depending on traffic. Some frequencies especially display teams are OLD, some teams have even disbanded. These are all the frequencies I have used for over 10 years collected together the banks are:

Bank 1: RAF Waddington frequencies for anything landing or taking off (in "theory")
Bank 2: RAF Waddington frequencies for anything transiting through or Ops (in theory nothing landing or taking off, but we shall see, thats new for 2013)
Bank 3: Common Airshow frequencies that are allocated to Airshows through the whole of the UK, in case Waddington use any of these over the airshow
Bank 4: National ATC for anything over Lincolnshire that is Flying HIGH, so if you see anything in the airshow thats passing overhead chances are it will be on these frequencies (Military and Civilian) Potentially arrivals may be on these channels BEFORE handing over to Waddington, but they are likely to be far away so you need good range on your scanner
Bank 5: Other Lincolnshire Airfields as Airshow aircraft may come from these locations or may get handed to these if they transit through their areas at any time however these are all North of Waddington, I have not programmed in anything like Cranwell, Coningsby, Barkston yet
Banks 6, 7, 8, 9: Display teams, again this is info collected over 10+ years so a lot of these will be out of date, but I know that if I see a multi aircraft display I can activate these banks and it will find the AIR to AIR for me 95% of the time, saves a lot of work on the busy airshow days
Bank 10: Blank, I have ACARS set up on these and other non aviation stuff so have left it blank

Suggest trying the following...

GMC = Ground
AIR = Tower
APP/RAD/FIN/ZONE = Approach
