Tuesday 25th September

Post by Phill » Wed Sep 19, 2018 10:44 am

Just read on Twitter, with thanks to The Lincolnite, there is to be a large scale training exercise from 9am -3pm involving military and civilian emergency services.
Unsure how this might affect the days usual flying ops but be mindful if you are planning a visit.

Kind regards
Phill

No NOTAM published as of yet to advise of any base closure, they are normally run with out any impact on activities, and are normally away from the main runway and Taxi ways. With Waddington being so quiet after the Italians leave this weekend, i cant see it have much of an impact either way.

cheers

Mike

Could be a traditional sweep of the tumbleweed which continues to blow across this decaying airfield...

The old bomb dump is owned/used by Lincolnshire fire service now, and has been for some time.

This is almost certainly inside the wire.

Cheers
